People of 39 more districts to get Machine Readable Passports at their door step

Islamabad, June 01, 2016: As part of its ongoing efforts to provide value added

brandservices and turnkey solutions to consumers and clients; TCS has expanded the reach of its Machine Readable Passport (MRP) Home Delivery Service from the initial 14 districts and added another 39 districts to its MRP delivery network across the country.

The launch ceremony for this expansion project was held on June 1, 2016 at the Passport & Immigration Directorate, Islamabad.Mr. Usman Akhtar Bajwa, Director General, Passport and Immigration, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Among those who attended the ceremony were Mr. Muhammad Masood, RDS North, Mr. Abdul Rehman, RMO North, Mr. Wajid Shah CSH, Islamabad and Mr. Qamar Abbas, Manager, MRP Project, TCS.This project has been jointly undertaken by the Directorate of Passport & Immigration and TCS, Pakistan.Under this project, the citizens of Pakistan will have the convenient and cost-effective option of having their Machine Readable Passports delivered to them right at their doorsteps through TCS Passport Express.The 39 districts being added to the MRP Home Delivery network are: Abbottabad, Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bannu, Chakwal, D.I. Khan, Gujjar Khan, Jaranwala, Jehlum, Jhang, Kasur, Kohat, Larkana, Mandi Bahauddin, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Muzaffargarh, Narowal, Nawabshah, Okara, Quetta, Rahim Yar Khan, Sahiwal, Sukkur, Swat, Timergara, Vehari, Hangu, Haripur, Jalapur Pirwal, Kotli, Marakiwal, Shahdra, Charsada, Nowshera, Sheikhupura, Mansehra and Swabi.
