PTCL Summer Internship Program Concludes
Islamabad, August 22, 2016: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), the country’s leading ICT services provider, recently concluded its summer internship program targeting the brightest students from Pakistan’s top tier business and engineering universities.
The intensive six week program titled ‘Experia’ featured 20 promising interns who were provided hands-on experience and a host of enabling opportunities through a robust range of tailor made learning activities.Participants were given individual projects and real-time business challenges in a case study competition. They also visited PTCL Data Center, telephone exchanges, Customer Contact Center and One Stop Shops which helped them better understand operations.Talks were delivered by PTCL’s senior leadership to provide deeper insights into business practices in addition to one-on-one sessions. They also underwent mock competency-based interviews as preparation for corporate sector job selection.PTCL is striving to provide new learning opportunities and capacity building for the talented youth of the country through various initiatives.
