Teradata Pakistan announces new Managing Director

 

Today Teradata announced Mr Qazafi Qayyum as the new Managing Director for Teradata Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. This position was vacant after Mr Khuram Rahat’s departure from the organsiation after a grand 28 year stint.

 

Andrew Blamey, VP for the APAK Region is visiting Pakistan, and made this announcement in a town hall meeting with the local team yesterday.

 

Mr Qazafi Qayyum has been with Teradata since 2004, and was the Solution Team Leader for Finance and Government before this. He has over 18 Years of extensive experience in Data Analytics, Business Consulting, Professional Services and Strategic Management with various large-scale multinational organizations.  He has widely consulted for some of the largest high-profile organizations in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan on Business Analytics and Data Driven Growth Strategies. He has an extensive knowledge and experience of devising reliable strategies around using ‘Data Analytics’ to drive sustainable business growth for Telecommunication, Financial Services, Government and Manufacturing Industries.

 

He is largely credited with his unique blend of Strategic Business Acumen and Hands-On Technology Grip. Previously, Mr Qayyum headed the Professional Services and Industry Verticals for Teradata Pakistan and has delivered myriads of high impact projects and complex customer engagements to great customer delight.

 

Mr Qayyum frequently gets invited as a guest speaker, lecturer and panelist by top educational institutions, corporate conclaves and business forums in Pakistan.  He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Sciences and high-profile specializations in the field of professional services.

 

He is a firm believer of Corporate Social Responsibility and actively engages in philanthropy related activities from various platforms.
