PTCL SPORTS GALA 2018 STARTS IN THE CAPITAL

PTCL Sports Gala 2018 has started off in F-9 Park, Islamabad. Teams representing Headquarters, South, North and Central Zones are participating in various exciting sporting events like Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, Lawn Tennis and Cricket. The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of staff members along with their families, where exciting games and healthy activities were organized for families and children.

On the occasion, Brig. (R) Muhammad Wajid, EVP Admin, PTCL, said, “At PTCL, a lot of importance is given to recreational activities for the betterment of our employees. Through PTCL Sports Gala, staff and their families are able to spend quality time together enjoying various sporting events, along with fun activities for kids. Like every year, there is a huge employee turnout to see their colleagues from across Pakistan, competing for winner slots in various events. We believe that such activities are necessary for developing employee confidence and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We are committed to bring more opportunities like these for the employees in future as well”.

PTCL has played a vital role in developing a culture of sports activities within the organization. Earlier this year, PTCL organized Teens Football Tournament’ for children of PTCL’s employees and Inter-Telecom Table Tennis and Badminton League, during which employees and their families participated with full passion.
