Digital technology vital for country’s development, Federal Minister for IT Syed Amin Ul Haque

ISLAMABAD (16-9-2020): Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque has said that digital technology is vital for the development of the country.
Federal Minister for IT said this during his visit to Jazz Headquarters here on Wednesday.
On his arrival at Jazz Headquarters, CEO Jazz Aamir Ibrahim welcomed the Federal Minister for IT.


Federal Minister for IT said that the betterment of public and customer service must always be given priority.
He said that country’s betterment and welfare of people are the priority of the government.
Syed Amin Ul Haque said initiatives taken for public welfare will be fully supported, adding that there is a need for working together for the welfare of people.


He said that the Ministry of IT is committed to the provision of broadband services in the country.
Steps are being taken to bridge a digital divide between urban and rural areas of the country, he added.


He said that expansion of the network is necessary for better connectivity.
Federal Minister also lauded the CSR activities of Jazz.
