Federal Secretary for IT and Telecommunication, Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput visited PTA Headquarters today. Chairman PTA, Maj General Amir Azeem Bajwa (R), Member Finance PTA, Muhammad Naveed and Member Compliance & Enforcement (C&E) PTA, Dr. Khawar Siddique Khokhar welcomed the Secretary.
The Federal Secretary for IT&T was given a detailed briefing about role and functioning of PTA, specifically focusing on license renewals and upcoming spectrum auctions. Future plans and initiatives to accelerate progress towards “Digital Pakistan” were also discussed during the briefing. Dr. Sohail appreciated PTA performance for the uplifting of telecom sector of Pakistan.
