Government Seeks Deputation of Finance Division Officer to Immigration & Passports Department

Islamabad, Pakistan – In a move aimed at strengthening the Department of Immigration & Passports, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has requested the deputation of Mrs. Aqsa Jamal, currently serving as Section Officer (BPS-18) in the Finance Division, to join the department on a temporary basis.

According to a letter issued on July 29, 2024, the Directorate General has sought the approval of the Establishment Division for Mrs. Jamal’s posting to the Department of Immigration & Passports (Headquarters) in Islamabad for a period of three years.

The request, approved by Muhammad Asim Ras, intends to leverage Mrs. Jamal’s expertise and experience in the Finance Division to enhance the operations of the Immigration & Passports Department.

This move is seen as part of the government’s efforts to streamline and improve the functioning of key departments, ensuring efficient service delivery to citizens.
