Islamabad: Zubair Kasuri

The Punjab government and Lahore’s Deputy Commissioner have launched a comprehensive plan to eliminate exposed internet cables and manholes in the city. Internet companies are working swiftly to underground cables and cover manholes.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore has instructed his staff to report any uncovered DP main halls in the city, with immediate action to be taken against internet companies failing to comply. This move aims to beautify Lahore and improve its infrastructure.

Sources within the Lahore District Government confirm that this initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the city’s cleanliness and aesthetics, extending beyond roads and parks to include internet infrastructure.
