DEATH THREATS AGAINST CHIEF JUSTICE: POLICE REGISTER FIR, LAUNCH MANHUNT

Kasur, Pakistan – August 20, 2024: In a shocking turn of events, a case has been registered against an individual for issuing death threats and hateful statements against the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faiz Isa, on social media.

According to sources, the accused, identified as Chunian Riaz, posted a video statement on social media, threatening to kill the Chief Justice and encouraging him to take his own life.

Police have registered an FIR (First Information Report) against Riaz and launched a manhunt to apprehend him. Riaz is accused of spreading religious hatred, chaos, and fear among the public. The FIR states that Riaz’s actions have caused significant distress and alarm, and that he has attempted to obstruct the legal duties of the Chief Justice by putting him under severe pressure.

“We are taking this matter very seriously and will not tolerate any threats against the judiciary,” said a spokesperson for the Kasur Police.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to track down Riaz and bring him to justice.
