Pakistan – In a major move to boost tourism and business, the Pakistani government has announced significant visa relaxations for international visitors. On the special instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Interior have initiated measures to provide special facilities to businessmen and tourists.

As of August 14, citizens from 126 countries can enter Pakistan without paying a visa fee, sources revealed. Additionally, the government is removing barriers to obtaining a visa, making it easier for visitors to explore Pakistan.

The security clearance period has also been reduced from 30 days to 15 days, streamlining the process for international travelers. Furthermore, the Ministry of Home Affairs is taking special measures to facilitate businessmen and tourists, including the selection of hardworking and honest officers to improve the efficiency of the visa section.
