NAWABSHAH, SINDH – A horrific incident of child sexual abuse has come to light in Nawabshah, where a 7-year-old mute girl, identified as Rashida alias Ayesha, was allegedly raped by her own uncle.
According to police sources, the accused, Manzoor Matilo, has been arrested in connection with the crime. The young victim had been visiting her grandmother’s house, located behind the Nawabshah Sugar Mill in the limits of Police Station B Section, when the assault took place.
A preliminary medical report has confirmed the sexual assault.
This heinous crime has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the vulnerability of children and the urgent need for stricter measures to prevent child sexual abuse. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
