Pakistani Speaker Honors Fallen Soldiers in Moscow

MOSCOW – Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, paid his respects to the fallen heroes of World War II by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow’s Alexander Garden today.

The solemn ceremony was attended by Vasily Piskarev, Chairman of the State Duma’s Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption.

Sadiq is leading a delegation of Pakistani parliamentarians on an official visit to Russia from November 27th to 29th, at the invitation of Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.
