Shahkot Family Embraces Islam After Encountering Teachings Online

In a heartwarming display of faith and the positive influence of social media, a non-Muslim family in Ward No. 10 of Shahkot has converted to Islam. The family, consisting of a mother and her two children, were reportedly inspired to embrace the new faith after encountering Islamic teachings and videos shared online by Uzair Ghulam Mustafa, a man who himself converted to Islam nine years ago.

The family’s conversion ceremony took place at the residence of local businessman Yasir Khan. Religious scholar Qari Shahid Nawaz presided over the ceremony, providing the family with comprehensive information about Islamic principles before leading them in reciting the Kalima Shahadah, the declaration of faith that formally marks one’s entry into Islam.
Attendees at the ceremony expressed their joy and congratulations to the family on their conversion, recognizing the significance of their decision. The family’s embrace of Islam serves as a testament to the power of online platforms in spreading religious understanding and fostering interfaith connections.
