Ministry of Interior Announces Internal Restructuring

Islamabad,News Reporter, The Ministry of Interior today announced the transfer of several sections from its IFS Wing to the BM Wing. The move, effective immediately, is intended to streamline operations and enhance efficiency within the Ministry.

According to an official office order dated January 13, 2025, the following sections have been transferred:
* Section (PE-I), (PE-II), and (PE-III) from DS (Security) to DS (Visa)
* Section (PE-IV) from DS (IC/FATF) to DS (Visa)
* Section (MMC) from DS (IC/FATF) to DS (FIA)
The office order, signed by Section Officer (Admn-I) Imran Asghar, states that the transfers include all associated staff and functions. This restructuring aims to optimize the Ministry’s internal workflow and improve service delivery.
