Ministry of Interior Facilitates Smooth Pilgrimage for Indian Hindus in Pakistan

Islamabad,Zubair kasuri, A delegation of 84 Hindu pilgrims from India, led by Sain Yudhishter Lal, recently concluded a 10-day pilgrimage to various religious sites across Pakistan. The group expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and efficient arrangements made for their visit, facilitated by the Ministry of Interior.

The pilgrims’ journey included a visit to the revered Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Baba Guru Nanak. The Gurdwara administration extended a warm welcome to the pilgrims, who offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
The delegation also visited other significant religious sites, including Darbar Hayat Pitafi in Mirpur Mathelo, Yog Mata Temple in Aqeel Pur, and Sadhu Bela Temple in Sukkur. They participated in the 316th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Shadaram in Mirpur, Sindh.
The pilgrims expressed gratitude to the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and the Pakistani government, specifically mentioning the Ministry of Interior, for the excellent arrangements made for their visit, including accommodation, transportation, medical facilities, and security. They commended the government and the Ministry of Interior for their efforts to promote religious tourism in Pakistan, particularly the introduction of e-visas.
The pilgrims also requested the government to consider granting visa-on-arrival facilities to all Indian citizens, which they believe would further boost religious tourism in Pakistan.
After completing their pilgrimage and performing religious rituals at various sacred sites, the group returned to India via the Wagah border.
