Islamabad,Zubair kasuri – The Prime Minister’s Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU) has announced the launch of the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal, a new online platform designed to streamline the process of lodging complaints and seeking redressal for grievances. The portal, available on both Android and iOS platforms, aims to connect citizens with government organizations at all levels.

The portal is intended to promote a culture of evidence-based policymaking and improve the efficiency and responsiveness of government entities. Citizens are encouraged to use the platform to raise issues, provide feedback, and seek information about government services.
The PMDU has outlined guidelines for using the portal effectively. Citizens are asked to provide complete and accurate information, avoid unnecessary complaints, and refrain from using abusive language. Complaints deemed irresponsible or containing false information may be blocked.
The portal also includes features to protect citizens’ privacy. Personal information will be kept confidential, and organizations are instructed to avoid unnecessary access to citizens’ profiles.
The PMDU has high expectations for the portal and its impact on public service delivery. The system is expected to resolve complaints within a timeframe of 10 to 15 days. Citizens are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience to help improve the system further.
The launch of the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal marks a significant step towards improving citizen engagement and government accountability in Pakistan. The PMDU is confident that the portal will become an important tool for promoting transparency and efficiency in public service delivery.
