Lahore Workers to Protest at DS Office Demanding Rights

Lahore,News Reporter, February 10th – A significant labor protest is planned for tomorrow, February 10th, at 11:30 AM outside the DS Office in Lahore. Organizers are calling on workers to rally under the slogan “Sab Raste Sab Qafle Mazdooron Ki Awaz Par” (All Roads, All Caravans at the Workers’ Call), emphasizing a unified movement to fight for their rights.

A widely circulated poster announcing the protest features a stylized train image and the call to action “Chalo Chalo” (Let’s Go), clearly stating the destination as the DS Office. The poster, written in Urdu, targets the working class and highlights labor rights issues. The slogans “Apne Huqooq Ki Jung Kay Liye” (For the War of Our Rights) and “Labbaik” (Here I am/Ready to serve) underscore the protesters’ determination and mobilization.
The train imagery used in the poster may symbolize the collective strength and journey of the workers. While the specific grievances of the workers and the expected turnout are not yet known, the call to action suggests a potentially large demonstration. This protest comes amid growing concerns about labor rights in the region. Further updates will be reported as they become available.
