PTCL-Ufone Rejects Acting HR Head for Permanent Role, Citing Lack of Experience

Islamabad – Special Report – Sources within PTCL-Ufone have revealed that the proposal to appoint Farooq Niaz Malik, the acting Head of HR, to the permanent position has been rejected.

Following the departure of Shoaib Baig, Farooq Niaz Malik, a close associate of Baig, was temporarily appointed as acting HR Head. After holding the interim position for the past four months, Malik sought the company leadership’s recommendation for a permanent appointment.

However, it is reported that Hatem Bamatraf CEO PTCL Group rejected the proposal, citing Farooq Niaz Malik’s lack of experience in the HR sector.
Consequently, PTCL-Ufone has now begun its search for a new, permanent HR Head.
