Islamabad News Reporter Two mobile phone dealers from Peshawar have gone missing during a trip to Germany organized by a private Pakistani mobile phone company.
According to telecom sources, a delegation of 84 dealers from the company, known as “Scrap,” traveled to Germany on January 20th. On the very first day of the tour, two dealers from Peshawar disappeared without a trace and remain missing.
An official from a local tourism company in Karachi confirmed that the disappearance of the two dealers has been reported to the German police. Despite extensive search efforts over several days, the police have been unable to locate the missing individuals.
The incident has also been reported to the German Consulate General in Karachi. An official from the private company stated that all dealers had obtained visas from the German embassy after completing bank guarantees and other necessary documentation.
The unexplained disappearance of the two dealers has raised concerns and prompted questions about the circumstances surrounding their vanishing. Disturbing allegations have surfaced, accusing a senior company official, identified as Zeeshan Qureshi, of accepting 5 million rupees from the two dealers and aiding in their disappearance.
This incident has damaged the reputation of all mobile phone companies operating in Pakistan. Responsible sources further allege that Scrap mobile phone company has devised a new method of human smuggling following the boat tragedies, facilitating the escape of individuals from Pakistan.
Government sources have indicated that authorities are investigating the matter to locate the missing dealers and uncover the truth behind their disappearance.
