NIA Takes Control of Pahalgam Attack Investigation

After the deadly attack in Pahalgam, Indian authorities have started a full investigation. India quickly blamed Pakistan, but Pakistan has denied all the accusations.

Now, the Indian government has given the investigation to a special agency.

What is the NIA?

NIA stands for National Investigation Agency. It is India’s top agency that investigates terrorism and big crimes.
Whenever there is a major attack in India, the NIA is often called to investigate.

NIA Takes Over Pahalgam Attack Case

After the Pahalgam attack, India’s Home Minister, Amit Shah, ordered the NIA to take over the investigation.
The NIA will now collect evidence, arrest suspects, and find out who planned the attack.

Indian media reports say that the NIA will also try to link the attack to “groups from across the border,” hinting at Pakistan. However, no clear evidence has been shown yet.

What Pakistan Says

Pakistan has rejected India’s blame. Pakistani officials said that India is blaming Pakistan without any proof.
They also said that India should conduct a fair investigation and not spread lies.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office asked the international community to monitor how India is handling the case.

Concerns About Fair Investigation

Many experts and human rights groups are worried that India might not do a fair investigation.
In the past, India has sometimes blamed Pakistan quickly without real evidence.

Some Indian political parties are also asking the government to share facts with the public instead of making emotional decisions.

Conclusion:
The Pahalgam attack is a serious matter. It is important that the investigation is done fairly, with real evidence. Blaming without proof can increase tensions and hurt innocent people.
