Zong Extends Free All-Network Minutes to Support Flood-Affected Communities

ISLAMABAD – August 16, 2025: Zong, Pakistan’s leading technology innovation company, offers 30 minutes and 30 SMS for all Networks. The complimentary minutes, valid for three days, will enable residents to stay connected with family, emergency responders, and relief agencies during this critical time.

The initiative covers severely impacted districts including Bagh, Bajaur Agency, Buner, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Swat, where heavy rains and flash floods have disrupted lives, damaged homes, and hampered essential communication channels.
“As Pakistan faces yet another natural disaster, Zong stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the nation,” said Sajid Munir, Head of Marketing Zong. “Connectivity is a lifeline in emergencies, and through this initiative, we aim to ensure that our customers in the affected regions can reach their loved ones and get the help they need without any barriers.”

Zong remains committed to leveraging its nationwide infrastructure to provide both immediate relief and long-term resilience during times of crisis. This gesture is part of Zong’s broader commitment to support disaster-hit communities across Pakistan.
