US Temporarily Suspends Certain Immigrant Visa Processing for Pakistan

Islamabad, News Desk: The United States has temporarily suspended processing of certain immigrant visa categories for applicants from Pakistan, as part of a broader policy affecting several countries.

According to international media reports, the decision mainly impacts immigrant/Green Card-related visas, including selected family-based and employment-based immigration categories. However, non-immigrant visas such as tourist and business visas may continue to be processed, though applicants could face tougher screening and verification requirements.

The development is expected to create delays and uncertainty for Pakistani families and individuals currently pursuing permanent immigration pathways to the United States.

Flare Magazine will continue to provide updates as more details emerge.
