HUMAN SMUGGLER CAUGHT: 13 PEOPLE DUPED INTO CROSSING CHENAB RIVER INSTEAD OF REACHING GREECE

Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan – In a shocking incident, a human smuggler was caught attempting to smuggle 13 people from Karachi to Greece through a dangerous and elaborate scheme.

The smuggler, who promised the individuals a safe passage to Greece, instead brought them to Sialkot by ship and left them stranded on the banks of the Chenab River near Jalalpur Jattan. The individuals were told to wait for a boat that would take them to Greece, but were instead left to fend for themselves.

When they sought help from a local trolley man, they were informed that they were not near the border with Greece, but rather on the banks of the Chenab River, with Sialkot on the other side. The individuals realized they had been deceived and were actually still in Pakistan.

The smuggler was arrested and is facing charges for human trafficking and attempted smuggling. The incident highlights the dangers of human trafficking and the importance of authorities taking action to prevent such crimes.

According to sources, the individuals were brought from Karachi to Sialkot by ship under the pretense of being taken to Greece. They were then put in a bag, covered with a tarpaulin, and transported to the riverbank.

“It was a terrifying experience,” said one of the individuals. “We thought we were going to Greece, but instead we found ourselves stranded on the riverbank with no idea where we were.”

The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
