Ministry of Interior Announces New Assignments and Additional Charges for Officers

Islamabad,Zubair kasuri,Ministry of Interior today announced the assignment of additional charges and current charges to several officers within the ministry, effective immediately. These assignments are to fill vacant positions and ensure the smooth operation of the ministry.

Mr. Nazar Muhammad Buzdar, Additional Secretary (IFS), has been assigned the additional charge of the vacant post of Director General (NCIMC), starting from November 29th, 2024. Mr. Fayyaz-Ul-Haq, Joint Secretary (FATF/Sec), has been assigned the additional charge of the vacant post of Joint Secretary (Law) from November 28th, 2024.
Ms. Shireen Hina Asghar, Section Officer (BS-18), has been assigned the current charge of the vacant post of Deputy Secretary (Visa) from November 27th, 2024. And Mr. Muhammad Shafique, Section Officer (Law), has been assigned the additional charge of the vacant post of Section Officer (Petition) starting today, December 3rd, 2024.
Each of these assignments will be in effect for a period of three months or until the availability of a regular incumbent for the post, whichever comes earlier. These assignments have been approved by the Secretary of the Interior.
The Ministry of Interior is responsible for the internal security of Pakistan, including law enforcement, counterterrorism, and immigration. These new assignments are expected to help the ministry continue to fulfill its duties effectively.
