Baba Guru Nanak University Launches MOOC Program 2025 in Collaboration with US Embassy

NANKANA SAHIB News Report, Baba Guru Nanak University has launched the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) Program 2025 in collaboration with the US Embassy. The program, funded by a small grant won from the US Embassy, will train 25 selected students of the university on the use of English in journalism and help them improve their professional careers, reported our correspondent Javed Ahmed Muawiyah from Nankana Sahib.

The opening ceremony of the MOOC Program 2025 was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Baba Guru Nanak University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Afzal. Program facilitator Mohammad Asif Nadeem from the US Embassy, Regional English Language Office, and Evolution explained the program’s objectives and goals. Faculty and students from various universities attended the ceremony and highlighted the need and importance of this program.

During the three-month program, 25 selected students from the university’s English Department will receive online and face-to-face classes on the importance of English in journalism, self-confidence, and how to achieve success in professional life.
