ISLAMABAD – June 19, 2025 – Google LLC has announced a significant price hike for its Google One 100 GB subscription service in Pakistan, set to take effect on August 17, 2025. The annual cost for the popular cloud storage plan will double, increasing from Rs 2,099.00 to Rs 4,199.00.
Subscribers were notified via email about the impending change. The notice states that users will be automatically charged the new subscription price, plus any applicable taxes, to their provided payment method until they cancel. The announcement also reminds users that their price may change again as described in the Google Play Terms of Service.
Customers have the option to stop their subscription from renewing at any time and can view upcoming charges in the “Subscriptions” section on Google Play. Google One offers expanded storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, along with other benefits such as access to Google experts and family sharing options.
