MCB Bank Ltd declared “Pakistan’s Best Bank” at Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2016

[Lahore: 13th August 2016]MCB Bank Ltd, Pakistan’s leading private sector bank, was declared “Pakistan’s Best Bank” at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2016 ceremony held in Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong.

Indeed, the Bank’s capital adequacy of 19% and consistent financial performance as demonstrated by the 15% growth of its pre-tax profit and 23% Return on Equity in 2015, were key deciding factors for the Award.Euromoney’s award decisions are made by a committee of senior journalists, chaired by Euromoney’s Editor, following the receipt of detailed submissions from market participants and extensive year-round research into the banking and capital markets in the region. Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence cover global categories, best-in-class awards in all regions and the best banks in close to 100 countries around the world. This is the tenth time MCB Bank Ltd has been awarded a prestigious Euromoney Award for being “Pakistan’s Best Bank”. The Bank was also declared the “Best Bank in Asia” by the premier finance publication in 2008.Speaking about the Award, President MCB Bank Ltd.
