Javed Afridi awarded ‘Businessman of the Year’ at 9th LCCI Achievement Award Ceremony
Lahore – 13th May, 2016: Javed Afridi, CEO – Haier Pakistan and Ruba Pakistan Pvt Ltd., was honored with President’s Businessman of the Year Gold medal at Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s (LCCI) 9th Achievement Award ceremony. Honorable President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain, and Shaikh Muhammad Arshad, President – LCCI, handed over the achievement awards to some of Pakistan’s most distinguished entrepreneurs. 
Speaking on the occasion, a jubilant Javed Afridi stated, “I feel honored to have my work recognized by the members of LCCI. The continuous support and co-operation extended by the government and the chamber body to local entrepreneurs has enabled a thriving business environment in the country. This award doubles my resolve to continue investing in infrastructure and human resource development in a bid to provide benefits to the masses.”Apart from Javed Afridi, the 9th LCCI Achievement Award saw a handful of other leading entrepreneurs of Pakistan being conferred with the President’s Businessman of the Year Gold medal as well.This prestigious occasion at the President House was graced by Federal Ministers, top government officials, Senior Vice President of LCCI – Almas Hyder, Vice President of LCCI – Nasir Saeed, former office-bearers, Executive Committee Members and renowned businessmen.
