Under the MoU, Zong, in collaboration with the provincial Ministry of Health, will distribute more than 1.7 Million SIMs to household beneficiaries of “Sehat Sahulat Programme”. Sehat Sahulat Program is an extensive five year health-care initiative launched by the government of KP in December last year that aims to improve access to health care of marginalized factions of society by improving their access to quality health services.

Zong is Pakistan’s largest, fastest and widest 4G network, providing 4G connectivity to over 200 cities and has recently been designated as the No.1 operator in voice and data services by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. Through its brand promise and social responsibility programs, Zong has repeatedly expressed its desire to transform the lifestyle of Pakistani people through connectivity.

This venture is an excellent example of governmental collaborations with the corporate sector to enhance outreach and achieve sustainable results. Together, the parties can contribute towards bringing viable health reforms that will enable access to better healthcare for millions of Pakistanis.
