Lahore – 27 March, 2018: Samsung Electronics – the global technology leader recently visited different localities of Pakistan and provided street cricketers with new cricketing gear. Cricket kits, training grounds, and scoreboards come at a price that most peoplemight not be comfortable paying for so they can be seen using wickets made of stacked bricks and playing without proper bats instead.

 

Pakistan is a cricket loving nation. It is a powerful social force, and its importance is beyond doubt and speculation. It is greatly played and loved regardless of demographic and psychographic boundaries in the country.

Samsung believes in transforming communities and creating a better life for people with healthy activities.

Samsung enhanced the experience for under privileged kids who never had a chance to buy cricket kits including bats and balls. They surprised the kids by visiting their favorite ground, distributing kits, setting up the arena & sharing the experience of cricket passion.

Samsung Electronics has always been at the forefront of social-development. Some of its past notable initiatives have included; Donation of two hi-tech Echocardiography machines and one Ultrasound Color Doppler machine to the Jinnah Hospital Karachi. Samsung also donated well-equipped Solar powered mobile-health units to Al-khidmat foundation providing free of cost healthcare to thousands of patients across Pakistan. As a result, the company has received numerous prestigious awards in the categories of Public-Health & Safety, Community Development & Services Technology’ and Innovation.
