JazzCash to Facilitate Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan

JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading mobile financial service provider, and the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) have signed an agreement for the facilitation of online payments. JazzCash will implement an online payment gateway solution for IPO-Pakistan, whereby people can pay their application fees for registration of trade mark for goods or services and purchase a domain name. The application fees can be conveniently paid now through JazzCash Mobile Accounts, retailers or Debit/Credit cards.

Speaking on the occasion, Aamer Ejaz, Chief Digital Officer at Jazz, said, “JazzCash remains committed to the digitization of financial services and partnerships like these are imperative for this reason. Convenience has become a necessity in this digital era and we are taking the lead in ensuring not only our customers, but the entire nation experiences the ease and safety that technology offers.”

Federal Secretary Ministry of Commerce Muhammad Younus Dagha said, “Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) believe in importance of ease of doing business and is committed to provide IP services to IP applicants and public-at-large better than before. E-Filing and e-payment are initiatives taken by IPO-Pakistan towards this objective.”

JazzCash actively pursues the establishment of a cashless economy, as a means for a more secure and convenient future. For this purpose, the mobile financial service provider has facilitated a host of government entities including KPK Higher Education Department, KWSB, FWO, and Pakistan Railways.
