POCO M series are among the most sought-after budget smartphone models. This model, the Poco M3 Pro5G is currently the most current model of the line. Based on various certifications, this model will soon get its successor in the shape of the POCO M4 Pro.
In the words of regular MIUI tipter Kacper Skrzypek and Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav the newly launched POCO-branded phone called the POCO M4 Pro is approved by agencies such as EEC, 3C, and TENAA. The phone is also listed as a member of the IMEI database.
If you look at these listings the phone is models numbers 2191116AG (Global) as well as 2191116AC (China). There are other models for different regions, too.
POCO brand is available only outside the mainland of China. This handset is a Chinese model which is a rebranded Redmi handset.
As of now, all we know is that it’s an enabled phone that supports 5G and has support for charging at 33W via the certifications above. We are hoping to know more about it over the next few days.
The latest generation of POCO M3 Pro 5G is an updated version of the Redmi Note10 5G with a new rear design. It is possible that the forthcoming POCO M4 Pro might also be the rebadged Redmi Note series device.
The new device is upgraded over its predecessor. It’s due to the fact that POCO M2 Pro was a bit more affordable than the successor.
