*WhatsApp Media Sharing Disrupted in Pakistan Amid Suspicions of Internet Firewall Testing*

Islamabad, Pakistan – A mysterious technical issue plagued WhatsApp users in Pakistan on Saturday, preventing them from sharing media files via mobile data. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and cellular mobile operators (CMOs) remained tight-lipped about the matter, fueling speculation about the cause of the disruption.

Users reported that while they could send and receive voice messages and video files over Wi-Fi connections, media file sharing was blocked when using mobile data. Experts point to the suspected testing of a firewall aimed at regulating the internet in the country.

The sudden disruption has raised questions about the government’s potential involvement in restricting online activity. As the investigation continues, WhatsApp users in Pakistan remain affected, with no official explanation or resolution in sight.
