The funeral of Captain Uzair Mehmood Malik, who was martyred in a terrorist encounter in Bahadur Sput Wadi Tirah, was held with full military honors. The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, politicians, and social personalities from various parties.

Among the attendees were MNA Malik Sohail Khan Kamdriyal of Pakistan Muslim League (N), former MP Malik Jamshed Lataf of PTI, and Malik Amanat Khan Rawal of Tehreek Labeek Pakistan. Thousands of people, including Sir Syed Sadat Ali Shah of Chora Sharif, participated in the funeral procession.

A guard of honor was presented by a well-armored troop of military personnel, and floral wreaths were laid by senior military officers. In a emotional speech, Malik’s father, retired Major Sher Malik, said, “There is nothing greater than the sacrifice of a son for the country. This is a message to the enemies of the country that we do not hesitate to sacrifice our lives. This is a proud moment for me.”

The crowd paid tribute to the martyred captain by chanting slogans, honoring his ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
