FIA has started action in Islamabad on the allegation of taking bribe of Rs 50 lakh from the officer of the abandoned waqf property of Pakistan.

According to the complaint, Janjua promised Shahroz Iqbal, the nephew of the citizen, a job as deputy tehsildar for a payment of Rs 20 lakh. 5 million citizens gave Janjua 3 million in cash, with witnesses, but Janjua failed to fulfill his promise.

The complainant alleged that Janjua had disappeared with the money and was no longer responding to calls or messages. The FIA ​​has started an investigation into the matter.

On being contacted, Deputy Administrator Arif Janjua of the Awqaf Department has said that there are many defaulters in the Awqaf Plaza F-Fio whose amount is more than 28 crores and he has issued notices to a tenant to recover from them. They started making false and baseless applications against me in local newspapers and departments, he said,
