In a shocking turn of events, a special judge, Humayun Dilawar, has been issued an arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in the illegal occupation of government land. The warrant, issued by the Special Judge FIA Court Islamabad, also names Dilawar’s brother, Sadiq Dilawar, father, Dilawar Khan, and registrar, Taj Mali Khan, as co-accused.
According to sources, the accused individuals used fake registrations to take possession of the government land, causing a significant loss to the state. The exact amount of the loss is yet to be disclosed.
The arrest warrant is a major blow to the judiciary, with many calling for greater accountability and transparency within the institution. The anti-corruption unit’s efforts to tackle land grabbing and corruption have led to this significant development.
Police in Bannu have been tasked with executing the warrant, and it remains to be seen how this case will unfold. One thing is certain, however – this crackdown on corruption sends a strong message to those in power: no one is above the law.
