Minister’s Maid Faces Deportation Over $6,000 Overstay Fine, PM’s Intervention Sought

Islamabad,Zubair kasuri: Filipina maid, Calvin Troy (passport number P8349386B), who has been working for Senior Minister Maryam punjab Aurangzeb for 15 years, is now facing deportation due to a $6,000 fine for overstaying her visa. The maid’s plight has put the Pakistani government in a bind, with officials hesitant to take responsibility for waiving the hefty fee.

Minister Aurangzeb has appealed to the Interior Ministry for a full waiver, but the case has been escalated to the Prime Minister for a final decision. This incident underscores the precarious situation of migrant workers and raises questions about potential gaps in Pakistan’s immigration enforcement.
Despite repeated attempts, Minister Aurangzeb has not responded to requests for comment,
