Pakistan Observes Kashmir Black Day in Moscow

MOSCOW – The Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow hosted a commemoration of Kashmir Black Day on October 27, 2024, marking the anniversary of India’s control over the Kashmir Valley.

Ambassador Muhammad Khalid Jamali led the event, joined by members of the Pakistani community and embassy staff. Messages from both the Pakistani President and Prime Minister were read, emphasizing Pakistan’s solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

Ambassador Jamali honored Kashmiri leaders, particularly Syed Ali Shah Geelani, for their dedication to self-determination for Kashmir. He highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to keeping the Kashmir issue in the international spotlight and pledged continued support for the Kashmiri people.
The event also featured a documentary film showcasing Kashmiri resistance and a photo exhibition depicting the struggles faced under Indian control.
