Belarus Delegation to Hold Consular Consultations in Islamabad, Meet with Key Pakistani Officials

Islamabad, News desk, A high-level delegation from the Republic of Belarus is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on February 25th for bilateral consular consultations with Pakistani officials. The visit, slated to last until February 27th, will include meetings with key representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior, including a session with Mr. Khurram Aga, Secretary of the Ministry of Interior.

The Belarusian delegation will be headed by Mr. Evgeny Andreevich, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and will include Mr. Andrei Vyacheslavovich Kozhan, Head of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Tatiana Fedorowa Leshchenko, Deputy Head of the Consular and Legal Department.
This marks the first bilateral consular consultations between Pakistan and Belarus, signaling a strengthening of diplomatic ties between the two nations. Discussions are expected to cover a range of consular issues, with both sides aiming to establish a framework for future cooperation proposed agenda from the Pakistani side, and a draft program for the delegation’s visit.
Pakistani authorities are preparing to extend full hospitality to the delegation, reciprocating the treatment received during the 8th Session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation held in Minsk earlier this month.
