Infinix Hot 70 Pro Launched with Stylish Design, 144Hz Display and 5G Support

Infinix has officially introduced the Hot 70 Pro, a new smartphone that combines a stylish design with modern features, 5G connectivity, a high refresh rate display, and a large battery. The phone arrives as the more advanced version of the recently launched Hot 70 and focuses heavily on offering a unique look along with solid everyday performance.

The Infinix Hot 70 Pro stands out from many smartphones in its category because of its special color-changing finishes and eye-catching design elements. The company has launched the device in six different color options, giving users a variety of styles to choose from.

The available colors include Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse, and Dive Blue. While Night Pulse and Dive Blue are more traditional colors, the other variants come with special visual effects that make the phone look different from ordinary smartphones.

One of the most interesting versions is Thermo Orange, which changes its color shade depending on temperature. When exposed to heat or cold, the back panel changes appearance, creating a dynamic look.

The Mirage Green version reacts to ultraviolet (UV) light and creates a glowing effect that resembles a star-filled sky. This gives the phone a unique appearance when used outdoors or under certain lighting conditions.

The Silk Glow Purple variant features a special nanocrystal texture on the back panel that produces a shiny and changing reflection when viewed from different angles. This finish gives the phone a premium look and feel.

Another special version is Depth Ring White, which creates a three-dimensional visual effect on the back panel, making the design appear more layered and stylish.

All versions of the phone weigh around 205 grams, making them comfortable to hold despite the large battery. The thickness varies slightly depending on the finish. Thermo Orange, Dive Blue, and Night Pulse models are 7.85mm thick, while Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, and Depth Ring White models are slightly thicker at 7.95mm.

On the front, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro features a large 6.76-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The screen is designed to provide clear visuals, bright colors, and a smooth viewing experience for everyday use.

One of the biggest highlights of the display is its adaptive refresh rate technology. The screen can automatically switch between 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz depending on the task being performed.

A higher refresh rate makes animations smoother and improves the experience while scrolling through social media, browsing websites, and playing games. The 144Hz mode is especially useful for users who enjoy mobile gaming, as it provides very fluid motion and faster visual response.

The phone is also built to handle tougher conditions. It comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, meaning it can survive being submerged in water up to 2 meters deep for up to 30 minutes under certain conditions.

Infinix has also mentioned that the device carries MIL-STD-810 certification, which is a military-grade durability standard. Although the company has not specified which exact tests were passed, the certification suggests that the phone has been tested for durability under different environmental conditions.

Another interesting feature is the dedicated AI button located on the right side of the phone. This button is powered by Infinix’s Folax AI system and provides quick access to AI-powered functions and shortcuts.

The rear design also includes an Active Matrix Cube LED display integrated into one of the camera modules. This LED system can display visual effects and notifications, adding a futuristic touch to the phone’s appearance.

Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, built using a 6nm manufacturing process. This chipset is designed to offer a balance between performance and power efficiency.

The processor includes an octa-core CPU with four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores running at speeds of up to 2.4GHz and four power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz. For graphics processing, the phone uses the Mali-G610 GPU, which helps deliver smooth gaming and multimedia performance.

The device comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, allowing users to run multiple apps simultaneously without significant slowdowns. It also includes 256GB of internal storage, providing plenty of space for photos, videos, games, and applications.

Users who need additional storage can expand it further using a memory card thanks to the included microSD card slot.

One of the biggest advantages of the Dimensity 7100 chipset is its support for 5G connectivity. This allows users to access faster mobile internet speeds where 5G networks are available, improving streaming, downloads, gaming, and online communication.

On the software side, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro runs Android 16 with the company’s custom XOS 16 user interface.

Infinix has also made a long-term software commitment for the device. The company promises three major Android operating system updates and five years of security updates, which is a strong promise for a smartphone in this category.

For photography, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro features a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera on the rear. The Sony sensor is known for capturing detailed images with good color reproduction and reliable low-light performance.

The main sensor has a 1/1.95-inch size, allowing it to gather more light and improve image quality in different lighting conditions. Users can expect sharp photos for social media, travel photography, and everyday use.

For selfies and video calls, the phone includes an 8MP front-facing camera. The front camera is suitable for video chatting, social media content, and casual photography.

Battery life is another strong area of the Hot 70 Pro. Depending on the market, the phone comes with either a 5,600mAh battery or a larger 6,000mAh battery.

Both battery options are large enough to provide all-day usage for most users, even with heavy activities such as gaming, streaming videos, browsing social media, and using 5G connectivity.

The phone supports 45W fast charging, allowing the battery to recharge quickly when needed. Infinix also includes the charger inside the retail box, which is becoming less common among smartphone manufacturers.

At the time of launch, Infinix has not announced the official price or market availability of the Hot 70 Pro. More information regarding pricing and regional launch dates is expected to be revealed soon.

Overall, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro appears to be a feature-packed smartphone aimed at users who want a stylish design, smooth display performance, long battery life, and 5G connectivity without moving into the premium flagship category. Its color-changing finishes, 144Hz refresh rate display, large battery, modern processor, and long software support make it an attractive option for students, young users, gamers, and anyone looking for a modern smartphone with a unique appearance and strong everyday performance.
