ISLAMABAD, September 8, 2026: Easypaisa Digital Bank and KTrade have signed an agreement aimed at making investment in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) more accessible through digital channels.
Under the agreement, PSX investment accounts will be opened and facilitated through the Easypaisa app, enabling users to access stock market investment services through a convenient digital platform.
The agreement was signed by Jahanzeb Khan, President and CEO of Easypaisa Digital Bank, and Mahmood Ali Shah Bukhari, CEO of KTrade, at a ceremony in Islamabad.
The initiative is expected to simplify the process of entering the capital market by allowing Easypaisa users to initiate and facilitate the opening of PSX investment accounts through the app.
The partnership represents a significant step toward strengthening the link between digital financial services and Pakistan’s capital markets. It also has the potential to broaden participation in the stock market by providing retail investors with easier access to investment-related services.
The development comes amid growing efforts to expand digital financial inclusion in Pakistan and encourage wider participation in formal investment and capital-market channels.
