Pakistan’s Entertainment Industry Sees Major Breakthrough With Local Assembly of 100-Inch Smart TVs

Islamabad – Zubair Kasuri: Pakistan’s electronics and home entertainment industry has witnessed a major technological breakthrough as local company Air Link Communication, in collaboration with a leading Chinese electronics manufacturer, has established a plant for the local assembly of advanced 100-inch smart TVs in Pakistan.

According to sources, this marks the first time that premium 100-inch smart televisions equipped with state-of-the-art technology are being assembled locally in the country, a development experts are describing as a historic milestone for Pakistan’s entertainment and appliance sector.

Industry analysts say the giant-screen televisions feature high-resolution display technology, premium visual systems, and advanced sound integration, offering consumers a cinema-like viewing experience within their homes.

Company head Muzaffar Hayat Paracha confirmed that for the first time in Pakistan, smart TVs of this size and quality are being assembled locally. He said the expected market price of the premium television sets would range between Rs1.1 million and Rs1.2 million.

Technology experts believe the development could significantly strengthen Pakistan’s home entertainment and electronics manufacturing sector. They say that if local assembly of advanced electronic products continues to expand, Pakistan could emerge as an important regional hub for modern smart electronics production in the future.
