TCL has today expanded its 20 smartphones families to include the TCL20R5G. This device is available in the series at a low price, making it the most affordable TCL-20 device.
TCL 20 Pro and TCL 20L+ have been added to TCL 20’s smartphone line-up. The new devices feature advanced NXTVISION technology from the second generation, which provides increased detail, contrast, and accuracy. TCL 20 Pro is a senior member of the series. It features a 6.67 inch AMOLED display and curved glass sides. There’s also a hole for 32-megapixel front-facing cameras. The main cameras include a main 48-megapixel sensor with OIS (16-megapixel wide) and a pair 2-megapixel caps to create the depth of field effect and macro photography.
Let’s look at the features it has. It boasts a 6.52-inch display at 720×1600 and 90Hz resolution (with 180 Hz touch sampling and 500-nit peak illumination), MediaTek Dimensity 700 SOC at the helm, 4GB and 64GB of expandable memory, a triple rear camera system (13MP primary + 2MP depth +2MP macro), and a 4,500mAh rechargeable battery with 10W charging.
TCL promises three-year security updates for the T20 R and one major Android update to Android 12. The phone will be available with Android 11.
TCL 20R will be available for purchase in select European markets from the end-of-this month. It will be available in the Netherlands at EUR179, but it is recommended that you purchase it at EUR249. It is probable that it will soon go on sale.
