Despite Shoaib Malik’s stellar performance, scoring 53 runs off 35 balls, the couple’s presence triggered a controversial reaction from spectators.

The newlywed couple, who recently announced their marriage, attended the match to support Malik as Multan Sultans took on Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This marked Malik’s third marriage, and the couple’s public appearance stirred reactions, with the crowd chanting the name of Malik’s ex-wife, Indian Tennis Star Sania Mirza.
