Pakistan Experiences Nationwide Internet Slowdown

Breaking News: Islamabad, Pakistan – A widespread internet slowdown has affected users across the country, with officials attributing the issue to difficulties in blocking specific URLs and links on social media platforms like Facebook.

According to Zubair Kasuri, an official of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the activation of firewalls on these platforms has resulted in a significant reduction in internet speeds. The slowdown has made it challenging for users to access online content, with hundreds of websites reportedly experiencing technical difficulties.
