KASHMIRIS TO PROTEST INDIAN EMBASSY IN BRUSSELS ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

Brussels, Belgium News desk: The Kashmir Council EU has announced a demonstration outside the Indian Embassy in Brussels on Thursday, August 15, to mark India’s Independence Day as a “black day” for Kashmiris.

Chairman Ali Raza Syed stated, “India’s Independence Day is a painful reminder of the illegal occupation of Kashmir. We will not remain silent while our people suffer.”

The protest aims to highlight the atrocities faced by Kashmiris and demand international intervention to grant them the right to self-determination.

Kashmiris and their supporters will gather outside the Indian Embassy, calling for an end to human rights violations and seeking global attention to their plight.

The demonstration is scheduled for 2 PM local time on August 15. Organizers expect a significant turnout, emphasizing the need for international solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

In a statement, Chairman Syed urged, “The world must acknowledge the suffering of Kashmiris and support our struggle for freedom and self-determination.”
