SMUGGLED GOODS WORTH RS 2 CRORE SEIZED IN MANDI BAHAUDDIN RAID

 

Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan – In a major crackdown on smuggling, customs officials, district administration, and police seized a large cache of smuggled goods worth Rs 2 crore from a house in Qutb Town Vasu, near Mandi Bahauddin police station civil line.

The operation was conducted on a tip-off from the sensitive organization IB, which identified the location as a hub for smuggled goods. The seized items included foreign non-customs paid cigarettes, shisha, and betel nut.

Liaqat Nama, the accused, was arrested for illegally bringing in these items, which were meant to be supplied to the local market. Shehryar, a spokesperson for the operation, confirmed the arrest and stated that the investigation is ongoing.

This major operation highlights the efforts of law enforcement agencies to curb smuggling and illegal trade in Pakistan. Further updates will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
