The 99th and 28th annual Urs of Hazrat Mian Sher Muhammad Sharqpuri, a revered spiritual figure of the subcontinent, have come to a close in Sharqpur Tehsil, Sheikhupura. The three-day celebrations drew a large gathering of scholars and devotees from across the country.
Federal Minister of Industry and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, graced the closing ceremony with his presence. The concluding prayer was led by Mian Muhammad Abubakar Sharqpuri.
A special prayer was offered for the martyrs of the security forces who laid down their lives for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine, as well as for national defense. The Urs celebrations paid tribute to Hazrat Mian Sher Muhammad Sharqpuri’s significant contributions to the promotion and spread of Islam.
