Abbottabad’s Shehzad Khan and Umar Daraz Claim Gold at Asian Muthai Kickboxing Championship

Abbottabad, Pakistan – Two young athletes from Abbottabad have brought home gold medals from the Asian Muthai Kickboxing Championship held in Uzbekistan. Shehzad Khan triumphed in the under-14 40 kg category, while Umar Daraz secured victory in the open age 57 kg category. Both athletes defeated Uzbekistani opponents in their respective finals.

In addition to their gold medals, Khan and Daraz were each awarded a prestigious belt of honor. Their victories are a testament to their dedication and the strength of the Pakistan Muthai Kickboxing Federation’s training program, led by head coach Abid Khan.

This impressive showing at the Asian Championship highlights the rising talent in Pakistani combat sports and brings well-deserved recognition to the city of Abbottabad.
