Government of Punjab to Move All Network Wires Underground in GOR-I

Lahore,Special Report,In a move to improve the aesthetics and safety of the GOR-I area, the Government of Punjab has announced that all hanging wires of network providers will be shifted underground. This decision comes as part of a development project to create a common corridor for laying underground fiber optic cable ducts.

The notice issued by the Services & General Administration Department (Welfare Wing) states that no hanging wires of any internet or cable provider company will be allowed in GOR-I after the completion of the underground corridor. All network providers operating in the area have been informed of this decision and are expected to comply.

This initiative is expected to enhance the visual appeal of GOR-I and eliminate the safety hazards posed by hanging wires.
